Enslow quedó embarazada a los 19 años de Alysssa y en la reciente celebración del cumpleaños número 23 de la joven, su mamá no pudo evitar la emoción de recordar los años que llevan juntas. “¡Como pasó el tiempo, cariño! No puedo creer que eres tres años mayor que yo cuando te di a luz”, escribió Enslow en una foto de la cuenta de Instagram de la “nena” en la que ambas aparecen frente a la torta con el número 23.

Pero lo más sorprendente llegó cuando el posteo se viralizó a través de las redes sociales, cuando los usuarios no sabían discernir quién era la madre y quién la hija. “Dios mío, luce como si fuera tu hermana. ¿Quién es la madre aquí?”, escribió uno de los usuarios de Instagram.

"Me niego a creer que sean madre e hija", escribió otro usuario de Instagram.

Un detalle que terminó por sorprender a los seguidores de Alyssa fue cuando reveló que Jessica no sólo la dio a luz a ella, sino que en los siguientes 19 años tuvo seis hijos más, fruto de dos matrimonios.

¿Cuál es el secreto de Jesssica para lucir mejor que antes de ser madre de siete niños? Ella reveló que va al gimnasio tres veces por semana mientras sus hijos más pequeños están en la escuela, y realiza una sesión extensa de ejercicio cardiovascular cada lunes a primera hora.

“Si hay voluntad, encontrarás una forma”, escribió en su propia cuenta de Instagram a modo de consejo. “Siempre digo: "¡Hacé lo que puedas!" ¡Hay que ser estricto con tus objetivos y flexible a la hora de lograrlos!”, agregó.

What I FOCUS ON when I’ve only worked out TWO TIMES a week for the past FOUR MONTHS ♀️ {Throwback to the beginning of my #fitnessjourney which truly started right after having my first baby until today. I’ve had quite a few more #transformations since this one } I’m not my leanest but still happy with my body given my current regimen! EVERY MORNING with breakfast: I take @warriorfuel_supps HERS Pink Burst #preworkout {Code: jessicafit} whether I workout or not. I have noticed a big difference with appetite control, fat loss, energy & focus compared to last year when I decreased my workout time and lost tons of progress. I feel more productive on the days that I take it versus the days that I don’t I’ve noticed. Workout Day 1 WEIGHT TRAINING: Pick 4 or 5 leg exercises & 1 glute exercise Do 3 X 6-10 reps I usually do leg extensions, leg curls, leg presses, seated or standing calf raises & either glute bridges on the seated leg extension machine or lying leg curl machine or glute kickbacks. (I alternate weeks doing both legs versus singles on the extensions, curls & calf raises and usually do 3 sets of both legs and 3 sets of singles on the leg press machine every leg day). CARDIO: 20 minutes of HIIT followed by 10-30 minutes of LISS {I use the elliptical and alternate 90 secs slow or moderate pace with 30 secs sprints}. I’ll do another post on Day 2 since this is getting a bit lengthy. Weekend plans anyone? The ship has sailed ⛵️ on a 2018 New Year’s post for me, ♀️ but I’ll spare you my year in review, as I’m sure we’ve all seen at least 200-300 years worth of people’s lives in the past few days! And so here we find ourselves on a #transformationtuesday & yes, I know I’m 9 months pregnant & in labor with @codyenslow on the left, but as I’ve said before, anyone who thinks pregnancy transformations don’t count probably has never given birth! Not only do you often gain some extra fat, but a woman’s uterus stretches to 500 times it’s normal size, and then returns to its normal size within about a month! Yes, our bodies are so resilient, especially when we take care of them. I’ve realized that if you find something you love, you’re more likely to stick with it! I now know I pretty much hate plyometrics & running, but I love #weighttraining & #cardio on the elliptical. I’m done following the trends & fads that come & go. Thanks to @shaneheugly I know that any form of cardio will work & luckily for me, weight lifting will help sculpt & shape your physique nicely. Here’s to achieving our goals in 2018! I made it in bright & early to the gym yesterday & just did an hour of low intensity cardio. First off, I’ve decided Mondays will just always be cardio days since the gym is beyond packed early in the morning & I’m never in the mood to wander around figuring out what I can use & then waste a half hour looking like a lost just to end up grabbing some dumbbells. I’m sometimes even lucky if I can get a cardio machine that I want. Also, I was feeling a bit low on energy & now I know why. I’ve finally caught a mild tummy bug from my little girl, who has been not feeling well the past couple of days. I decided to get a little extra sleep this morning & continue prepping my house for Thanksgiving I’m just going to play things by ear based on listening to what my body needs. Besides, your body’s metabolism increases when you get sick as it works to overcome the illness. Luckily, it is super mild & I can still function pretty well. LEFT: NUTELLA EVERY DAY & RANDOM PINTEREST WORKOUTS|| MIDDLE: COUNTING MACROS & WEIGHTS + CARDIO 5-6x/week|| RIGHT: INTUITIVE EATING & WEIGHTS + CARDIO 2-4x/week I will forever be grateful that I chose to hire a fitness coach, who was prepping me to compete. It taught me just how much work and dedication it takes to get super lean and fit, and the gist of how to balance eating with exercise, but after 4 months I ran out of steam...physically & emotionally. It just wasn’t right for me at the time. I worried I’d regret taking a step back, but in all honesty, I have no regrets. My house is cleaner, my kids are happier & I feel a lot more energy & balance in my life. I don’t judge people who can hack it. But I’m not ashamed for changing my course. The way I eat and exercise now is easy to maintain. Am I as lean as I used to be? Nope. But with the help of my @warriorfuel_supps HERS #preworkout {Code: jessicafit} I take almost every day whether I workout or not, I am able to stay fairly lean and still maintain my sense of peace & sanity. I didn’t get to workout yet this week, but I did get to spend some quality time with my mom & wrap up some fun collaborations! The plan is to get back on track tomorrow! I also must confess... I’m super excited I’ve stepped into a gym at least FOUR times in the same week! I finally feel like my motivation & drive are kicking back in! ⚡️ I know it’s no amazing accomplishment but feeling the desire is I did #weighttraining three days and cardio four days this week. Do I feel guilty for slacking the past four + months? Nope. Sometimes we have to focus on certain things more than others. Only YOU know what is best for YOU! I’m over others telling us we HAVE to sweat this many days a week or that eating junk is called balance. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. I think inside we know what we need. My main goals are spiritual, mental & physical balance. I was thinking the other day, the days I start with a prayer and some spiritual nourishment are the days that go best for me in ALL other areas. FIVE RULES I've learned work best for my body to stay leaner without doing tons of cardio. 1. STOP eating when I'm SATISFIED not completely full. {I've done so much better at this than I used to!} It takes awhile for our brains to realize we are full, so eating slowly and making a conscious effort to stop when I feel satisfied has helped. 2. Make sure I'm eating plenty of protein at each meal, and make sure my carb sources aren't just empty calories, like soda or junk food. My go-to carbs are oatmeal, fruit and whole grain breads. 3. I keep snacking to a minimum. I may grab a bite or two of my kids white toast, fries or cereal, or have a few chocolate chips to satisfy my cravings, but if I am doing it because I'm hungry, that is where things can start to digress. I snack on jerky or protein chips if I truly need something to tie me over until my next meal. 4. I don't overindulge on cheat meals. Maybe once a week I'll have an appetizer and dessert, but I still always choose a healthier entree for my main course, like grilled chicken salad with dressing on the side or salmon. My metabolism just can't handle a burger, fries, milkshake, and dessert once or twice a week, unless I up my cardio and workout more! So during times like this, where I'm only making it into the gym about twice a week, I use my cheats on treats . 5. Taking my @warriorfuel_supps HERS #preworkout {code: jessicafit} every morning has seriously been a game changer for me. I know it helps control my appetite and increases my metabolism, but I still have to make sure I stick to the previous four things I've discovered more recently in my journey to keep the fat off!

FOOD DIARY! {as promised} From last February until mid-June I trained under the direction of coach @shaneheugly ♀️ When I decided to slow down, I didn't really have a plan for working out or diet, so for the past two months I've averaged 2 days of working out a week. Sometimes I just did weight training... sometimes just cardio. For diet, I've pretty much stuck to what I was eating, but have just eaten less of it & taking @warriorfuel_supps HERS #preworkout has helped so much in controlling my appetite & increasing my metabolism for #fatloss {discount code: jessicafit & it tastes the best! }. I know I won't achieve the results I was heading toward, but I've been happy with the maintenance I've had with the following diet. MEAL 1: 1 whole egg, 4 whites (scrambled), 1/4 c oatmeal w/ 2-3 sliced strawberries, 12 semi-sweet chocolate chips, 6 Tbl fat free Reddi Wip MEAL 2: 3/4-1 c 2% Cottage Cheese, 1/2 banana w/ 5 grams peanut butter, 8-10 nestle chocolate chips {sometimes I had a piece of toast w/ butter and only had 1/4 banana} ~OR~ Chopped chicken {about 8 oz} on bed of mixed greens w/ edamame & strawberry vinaigrette dressing on the side. SNACK: 1 or 2 bags @questnutrition protein chips MEAL 3: Either repeat MEAL 1 ~OR~ Protein pancakes: 1/2 c @kodiakcakes protein pancake mix, 1/2 cup non-fat plain greek yogurt, 1 egg, 2 egg whites topped with 4-5 strawberries sliced, 12-14 chocolate chips, 10 Tbl fat free Reddi Wip, either sugar free maple syrup or zero calorie @waldenfarmsinternational maple syrup ***I have also had some major cheats. Usually 1-2 days a week I've eaten cookies or donuts or some high carb/fat food. Not by design, but by lack of discipline My goal is to get back into working out 4-5 days a week and counting macros again! ♀️
